GCI Alaska Academic Decathlon encourages partnerships between the 
educational and business communities. 

Contributions from sponsors are recognized at seven levels.

Sponsors may associate their sponsorship with an event for additional recognition.

All event associations are on a first-come basis.

Over $130,000 in Scholarships have been awarded 

to Alaska students since 1984!

 

  • $9000 in cash scholarships are awarded annually to the top three students overall in each division of competition

  • Additionally, scholarships are made available from UAF, UAA  and other educational institutes.

  • Gold, Silver and Bronze medals are presented to individual event winners

  • Trophies are presented to the three highest scoring teams in the three Divisions.

  • Plaques are presented to the top three winners of the Super Quiz.
