Program for the next competition year is released from USAD.

Mid-May

USAD ships Study Guide, novel and music CD’s to schools that ordered early from USAD.

August 1

Curriculum materials shipped to schools that placed orders in May.

September

Begin recruiting team members.

October

Team preparations: speeches written, basic reading completed.

November 1

Intent to Participate due to State Director, including a P.O. or check to pay for registration fees.

Mid-November

Practice Test A mailed to school test administrator from the State Office.

January

Practice (Regional) Test B mailed to school test administrator from the State office.

January

Local or regional competitions.

February 1

Team registration paperwork due in State Director’s office

March

Order curriculum materials from USAD for the next school year competition.

Late Feb - Early March

State Championship held in Anchorage at the Universtiy of Alaska Anchorage Campus.

April
